注释
兼山為艮，冬日採蘭——地凍堅難，寸步難行。趨走至室北，暮而無所得。此為時節之徒勞：錯誤之事在錯誤之時於錯誤之地。蘭花生於暖季，冬日求之是美麗而絕望之舉。從艮至井（木上有水），山化為水在木上之象——井養萬民。井惠及一切汲取者，然水須可及。詩中凍土即冰封之井：資源存在但時節不許汲取。所需非努力而是耐心。
