注释
山上有木為漸，天下有山為遯。子長忠直，李氏為賊。禍及無嗣，司馬失福。忠直之人遭奸賊所害，禍連子嗣斷絕，司馬氏亦失其福祿。從漸至遯（遠小人，不惡而嚴），天下有山，君子見機而退。忠良既遭禍，明智者當知退避。遯卦之義在於：當小人得勢時，不必以身殉道，而應保全有用之身。漸進之功遇叛逆之時，有時須化為果斷之退。留得青山在，方有將來之漸。
