注释
山上有木為漸，山上有水為蹇。敏捷極疾如猿集木，彤弓雖調終不能獲。身手矯捷如猿，弓箭精良如彤弓，然終不能命中。蹇之險在於山上積水，前路受阻。從漸至蹇（反身修德），漸進之功在此撞上不可逾越之障。蹇卦君子「反身修德」：不能前進時須回頭自省。猿之速與弓之精皆外在之技，遇蹇則無用武之地。漸之積累若只在外功，而無內德之修，則如調弓射猿——看似精準卻永遠差一步。
