注释
山上有木為漸，木上有火為鼎。雞鳴同舉，思配無家。執佩持鳧（婚禮之贄），無所致之。禮備而無受者：贄物在手，時辰已到，卻無對象可獻。從漸至鼎（正位凝命），鼎卦火烹風送之物，化粗為精。然此詩中精心備就之贄無處可呈。漸之培養若缺乏承接之器，則如空鼎待物——修養再好、禮數再周，無人接納則一切落空。鼎之凝命須有位可正，否則持鳧而無所致，漸功亦付東流。
