麗澤兌，歡悅之象。然早霜晚雪傷害禾麥，功損力棄，飢無所食。天災之下，豐收之望化為烏有。從兌至師（地中有水），歡樂驟變為危機。師卦之象為水潛於地中，喻民眾可集結為軍。災荒之際需以軍法之紀律統合殘餘資源，非坐以待斃。縱然顆粒無收，地中之水猶在，組織應對之能力仍潛伏於廢墟之下。
