虎聚摩牙，人待豚豬。往必傷亡，宜利止居。
Tigers gather, grinding their teeth; men wait like pigs. Going forth means certain death; better to stay and hold still.

天與水違行，訟。虎聚磨牙——猛虎群聚，磨礪利齒。人待豚豬——以牲畜為餌或為祭。往必傷亡——前行必遭禍害；宜利止居——不如安守不動。詩為赤裸之警告：猛獸正在集結，看似機會實為陷阱。從訟至鼎，木上有火，烹煉化生。鼎為文明之至高成就——化生為熟，變粗為精。然詩反轉此義：攜牲畜之人非烹者而是被烹者，非化者而是原料。當虎踞其地，趨近鼎則意味著成為鼎中之物。
