澤上有水，節以蓄養潛力。騏驎、綠耳皆千里名駒，造父善御聞名天下——皆以嚴格訓練成就卓越。繼而轉入晉國史事：伯夙、成季（多解為趙夙、趙衰等晉文公從亡之臣），共成霸功，為晉元輔。重耳流亡十九年，臣下砥礪不懈，終成春秋一霸。從節至泰（天地交），長年節制中的蓄積化為天地交泰之盛世。流亡中的自律是節，歸國後的開明治理是泰。節之磨礪成就泰之通達，限制本身即為日後繁榮之根基。
