注释
澤上有水，節以度制萬物。然朽條腐索，不堪施用——器具皆爛，無一可用。唯安靜候時，以待親知。非意志之衰，乃工具之竭：心猶有餘而力不從。從節至豫（雷出地奮），腐朽之中隱含復興之雷。雷出地奮，先王作樂崇德——然此刻尚在沉寂。朽木不可強用，然地下之雷自有其時。等待並非絕望，而是順應大地自身之節律。豫之本義為預備、為喜悅，此處預備尚在地下醞釀，親友未至而春雷將動。
