注释
水在火上，既濟之明。舜升大禹——聖王舜識拔大禹。石夷之野——禹於荒野石地中勞作。徵詣王闕——召至天子之朝。拜治水土——受命治理洪水與疆土。據《史記·夏本紀》，舜以禹之才德授命治水，禹以疏導之法平定洪水，三過家門而不入。從既濟至比（地上有水），火水之衡化為水行地上之親和。比之道在於上位者識賢而用之，以此紐帶凝聚天下。德才為國之基，非血統而為任命之準則。
