上九 有孚于飲酒。无咎。濡其首。有孚失是。
Nine at the top means: There is drinking of wine In genuine confidence. No blame. But if one wets his head, He loses it, in truth.

火在水上,未濟之際,賢者執禮見王。圭璧琮璜——圭、璧、琮、璜四種禮器,合為六瑞之制,象徵正統權威。百里甯戚——百里奚以五羖贖自奴隸而為秦相,甯戚飯牛而歌而被齊桓公拜為卿。二人皆自卑微崛起。應聘齊秦——分赴齊、秦效力。從未濟至革(澤中有火),火水化為火在澤中之革。革為湯武革命之卦——「順天而應人」之正當更迭。此詩匯集變革之器具與人才:禮器為正統之據,寒士為轉化之力,二者兼備方為正義之革命。
