注释
地上有水，比也，本應親近相守。然此詩寫錯過歸期之悲。過時不歸，雌雄苦悲——雌雄失偶，悲鳴不已。徘徊外國，與母分離——羈旅異鄉，母子分隔。全詩為時機錯失之哀歌：歸期已過，遊子仍滯留邊外。從比至隨（澤中有雷），本應如雷安息於澤之中，隨順自然節律而歸。然詩示歸途已斷——遊子無法順應時序回返。親附之紐帶為距離與遷延所裂，再多渴望亦無從彌合。
