Fine timber grows on Jing Mountain, its fate entrusted to master builders. Robes stripped away, bare to summer heat and winter cold. Standing starved and withered; no one shows pity.

Commentary
Fire beneath the mountain lights a scene of talent wasted. A pian tree — one of the most precious hardwoods — grows on Jing Mountain, yet its destiny is to be carved by the master craftsman Lu Ban. Despite such noble material and expert hands, the verse turns bitter: robes are stripped away, leaving one exposed to summer heat and winter cold. Standing starved and withered, no one offers pity. The finest timber, even shaped by the greatest artisan, is left to rot if the world has no use for it. From Grace to the Army, water hidden within the earth replaces fire upon the mountain. Adornment yields to disciplined endurance — yet here the army's structure offers no rescue for the solitary sufferer.
