Fine timber grows on Jing Mountain, its fate entrusted to master builders. Robes stripped away, bare to summer heat and winter cold. Standing starved and withered; no one shows pity.

注释
山下有火，賁照荊山。楩生荊山——楩木為至貴之材，生於荊山。命制輸班——交由魯班裁製，可謂大材遇巧匠。然詩意驟轉：袍衣剝脫，夏熱冬寒——衣衫盡失，寒暑交迫。立餓枯槁，眾人莫怜——枯立飢餓，無人同情。至材遇至工，仍不免淪落，皆因世無用武之地。從賁至師，地中有水：山之火化為地下之水，文飾變為蓄眾容民之制。然此處師之紀律亦無法拯救孤身受難者。
