Fine timber grows on Jing Mountain, its fate entrusted to master builders. Robes stripped away, bare to summer heat and winter cold. Standing starved and withered; no one shows pity.

山下有火,賁照荊山。楩生荊山——楩木為至貴之材,生於荊山。命制輸班——交由魯班裁製,可謂大材遇巧匠。然詩意驟轉:袍衣剝脫,夏熱冬寒——衣衫盡失,寒暑交迫。立餓枯槁,眾人莫怜——枯立飢餓,無人同情。至材遇至工,仍不免淪落,皆因世無用武之地。從賁至師,地中有水:山之火化為地下之水,文飾變為蓄眾容民之制。然此處師之紀律亦無法拯救孤身受難者。
