地中有水，師之象。伯寧子福，惠我邦國——「伯寧」「子福」或為賢臣之名號，意寓安寧與福澤，嘉惠國家。蠲除苛殘，使季無患——廢除苛暴之政，令幼者無憂。此頌改革之臣以仁政代替暴法，護佑弱小。從師至賁（山下有火），火照山下，文明之紋理顯現。軍旅之剛猛披上仁治之文飾，武力化為政教之美。
