Nine in the fourth place means: He comes very quietly, oppressed in a golden carriage. Humiliation, but the end is reached.

上六 困于葛藟。于臲卼。曰動悔有悔。征吉。
Six at the top means: He is oppressed by creeping vines. He moves uncertainly and says, "Movement brings remorse. " If one feels remorse over this and makes a start, Good fortune comes.

Commentary
A lake without water, yet drums beat and great joy fills the air. A wedding feast is underway; wine flows freely. The daughters of the Jiang clan are praised as brides, and the ancestral father is honored with delight. 'Zhu Jiang' (the various Jiang ladies) refers to women of the Jiang surname, which included the ruling house of Qi. The Shijing frequently celebrates marriages with Jiang-surname women as emblems of proper alliance. The feast that honors the ancestors through a new marriage unites past and future in a single celebration. From Oppression to the Gentle, doubled wind penetrates all things, and the gentleman issues commands and carries out affairs. The wedding's gentle joy disperses oppression the way wind scatters stale air, renewing the household through alliance.
