Commentary
Heaven and water oppose, but within the purple palace of nine layers, solemn authority dwells. The Yellow Emperor, Yao, and Shun practiced the Way of perfect impartiality. Robed and capped, governing by moral example rather than intervention, the world finds peace of its own accord. The 'Purple Palace' (紫閣) evokes both the imperial court and the Ziwei stellar enclosure — the celestial pole around which all stars revolve. From Conflict to Grace, fire glows beneath the mountain, adorning without excess. Grace tempers brilliance with restraint, beauty with substance. The sage-kings' governance is precisely this: order achieved not through force but through the adorning power of virtue made visible.
