注释
背北相憎，心意不同，如火與金。乾至歸妹，澤上有雷，歸妹之象也。君子以永終知敝。歸妹為妹嫁之卦，多出於勢而非出於情。此詩直寫本質之不合：火與金相遇，金被火克，此為五行相剋之定律。背向而立，心志各異，短短數語道盡婚姻不諧之根源。永終知敝——要看到終局之敗壞，此詩以火金之喻預示結局：性質相剋者勉強結合，禮儀再隆重也無法鑄造持久之聯結。
