六四 翩翩。不富以其鄰。不戒以孚。

注释
天地交泰，然洪水滔天。水壞我里——洪水毀壞村莊。東流為海——大水東去入海。龜鳧讙囂——龜鱉鳧鴨在廢墟中喧嘩。不覩慈母——孩子找不到母親。洪水過後之景：人居變為水澤，水族佔據廢墟，母子離散——此為全詩情感之核心。從泰至兌（麗澤），君子以朋友講習。泰化為兌：兌之悅在共享之水，此詩之水卻摧毀一切。湖水有界則為樂，無界則為災——歡樂須以節制為前提，不受約束之澤即為洪荒。
