注释
地中有山，然此處山崩。原詩曰「桀跖並處，人民愁苦」——暴君桀與大盜跖同在，民不堪命。擁兵荷糧，戰於齊魯——兵火連天，禍及中原。非遠古傳說，乃眼前之創痛。從謙至剝（山附於地），山之基底逐層剝蝕，陽爻一一被除。桀跖共治之下，民眾被剝奪殆盡，正如卦象之剝落。謙之內山本應護民，反成壓迫之崩壞結構。此詩警示：領導層之道德敗壞使國家之力反噬其民。上以厚下安宅——剝卦之訓正是對此警告之回應。
