注释
地中有山，然糧絕路窮。引順絕糧——隨路而行卻已斷糧。與母異門——與母親分居不同門戶。不見所懽——見不到所愛之人。孰與共言——無人可以傾訴。窮困與孤寂之悲歌。從謙至晉（明出地上），光明自地面升起，君子以自昭明德。然此詩呈晉之黎明前黑暗：飢餓、失母、孤獨。晉卦要求自昭其德，而此詩捕捉的是光未破曉之瞬間。與母分離如根被斷——晉之進步正從此荒蕪起步。
