雷出地奮，虎飢欲食而為蝟所伏——小刺蝟以堅甲制猛虎，以柔克剛。繼而大禹鑿龍門、導洪水，辟咎除患，天下以安。蝟伏虎出《史記·龜策列傳》「猬能伏虎」之說；禹導龍門為治水之偉業，化洪流為通途。從豫至比（地上有水），防禦之智與治水之功並行：先以刺蝟之甲止暴，再以大禹之功疏通，終成水行地上、親附團結之象。化危為安，聚散為合。
