山下有風，蠱象思慕。采唐沫鄉——採菟絲於沫鄉；期于桑中——約會於桑林之間。此直用《詩經·鄘風·桑中》之典：「期我乎桑中，要我乎上宮」，為幽會之代稱。然失期不會——約期已過而未能相見；憂思約帶——憂愁思念，腰帶日緊，人因相思而消瘦。從蠱至謙（地中有山），求而不得之痛教人收斂。山藏地中不自顯露，正如等候而落空者須吞下驕矜，接受不可強求之事。
