注释
澤上有地，臨之象也。黃獹生馬、白戌為母——物類錯亂，犬生馬駒，異類為母，乃天道失序之兆。詩境隨即轉入史事：晉師在郊，虞公出走。此典出《左傳·僖公五年》：晉獻公以屈產良馬、垂棘之璧賂虞公，借道伐虢。宮之奇諫曰「唇亡齒寒」，虞公貪賂不聽。晉滅虢後回師順手滅虞，虞公出奔。從臨至乾（天行健），名義錯亂則自強之力亦無所依：犬馬混生之怪象，正映信義出賣後秩序崩解之危。貪小利而失大本，終自取滅亡。
