澤上有地，臨之德化。八百諸侯——八百路諸侯；不期同時——不約而同、同時聚集。慕西文德——仰慕西伯（文王）之文德；興我宗族——振興周族宗脈。家門雍雍——家門和睦融融。據傳武王伐紂前，諸侯會於盟津，非以武力徵召，而因周之積德所感召。從臨至遯（天下有山），悖論精妙：最盛大之聚集恰因聖王退避衝突而生。天在山下退隱，然其道德引力不發一令而天下趨歸。
