澤上有地，臨之進取。平國不君——陳國無道之君；夏氏作亂——夏氏發動叛亂。烏號竊發——名弓暗中射出；靈公殞命——陳靈公喪命。據《左傳·宣公十年》，陳靈公與孔寧、儀行父共通於夏姬，以夏徵舒之貌互相戲弄。徵舒忍無可忍，自廄門射殺靈公。從臨至晉（明出地上），火出地上本應照明——然此處照出之腐敗太赤裸，暴力驟發。無德之進取只會加速毀滅。
