注释
地勢坤，承載萬物而不拒。城上有烏，自名破家——城牆上棲一惡鳥，其名即「破家」。招呼酖毒，為國患災——招引毒害，禍及國家。烏棲城上為凶兆之象，惡物據高位而國將敗。從坤至蒙（山下出泉），大地之包容化為蒙昧之危：泉水初出不知所往，若受邪引則入歧途。坤之厚德在於承載，然不辨善惡而一概受之，則毒害亦因包容而入。此詩警示：蒙昧之初若不擇所受，則所養者非善而是禍端。
