注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。原辭曰：「北辰紫宮，衣冠立中。含和建德，常受天福。」北辰即北極星，紫宮即紫微垣，天帝之居所。衣冠端正立於天之中心，懷抱和順建立德業。雷雨作，解之象：君子以赦過宥罪。解者，緩也，積壓之勢得以釋放。從坤至解，大地之沉靜蓄積化為雷雨驟降之解脫。居中建德之君正是能行赦免之人——不動而化，含和而釋，積壓之困在和德之下自然消解。坤之厚德為解之根基，無深厚之蓄積則無從釋放。
