注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。鶴盜我珠，逃於東隅——鶴偷走我的珍珠，逃向東方角落。求之郭墟，不見所居——在城郭廢墟中尋覓，找不到其蹤跡。風雷益之象：君子以見善則遷，有過則改。益者，損上益下，然此詩反寫益之逆——所增者為盜者之利，所損者為己之珠。鶴本為祥瑞之鳥，此處化為竊者。從坤至益，大地之開闔應為增益之機，然若所增非所期，則反成損失。益之道在於方向正確：見善而遷方為真益，若善被竊、珠被奪，則益非益也。
