注释
電雷噬嗑，本以火雷明法。此詩則寫生機盡竭：朽根枯樹，葉落花去——已是死物。忽逢火焱，相隨偃仆，燒盡無遺。枯朽遇火，滅之更速。從噬嗑至否（天地不交），天地閉塞。法度之機制本身已腐朽，昔日明罰之火今只焚燒殘骸。結構既空，一星之火即成滅頂之力。否卦之象正是如此：上下不通，萬物凋敝。
