注释
電雷噬嗑，明罰之象。犬吠驚駭，公拔戈起——夜犬突吠，君拔戈而起。然威脅自消：玄冥厭火，消散瓦解。「玄冥」為北方水神，主冬主水，以水克火乃五行自然之序。從噬嗑至大壯（雷在天上），雷動天上，至壯之象。然此詩示大力未必須用：宇宙自身之循環已化解危機，拔起之戈終未揮出。大壯之勇在於知力不必用。
