山下有火，賁育非凡之生。鳳生五雛——鳳凰孵出五子。長於南郭——長養於城南。君子康寧——君子健康安寧。悅樂身榮——喜悅光榮。鳳凰育五雛為盛世至瑞——非一而五，承繼天鳥之德。南方屬火、主朱雀，為鳳凰之本位。從賁至困，澤無水：山之火化為枯澤。對比鮮明：詩之豐盈映照困之枯竭。或者鳳凰營巢於南城乃昔日之記憶——澤水乾涸之前的歡樂。
