注释
山下有火，賁照東門之亂。東門之壇——東門外之高地。茹藘在坂——茜草生於山坡。此出《詩經·鄭風·東門之墠》，為戀歌：女子近在咫尺而心隔天涯。禮義不行——禮義不得施行。與我心反——與我心意相違。詩經典故點明哀嘆之旨：東門本為正當社交之場，然禮法崩壞。從賁至鼎，木上有火：山之火升為木上之火。鼎以禮制烹煮轉化原料，然此處原料已壞——無禮義則神器亦不能成佳饌。
