Nine at the top means: There is a large fruit still uneaten. The superior man receives a carriage. The house of the inferior man is split apart.

焦氏易林
新田宜粟，上農得穀。君子惟好，以紆百福。
New fields suit millet well; the skilled farmer reaps grain. The noble man delights in virtue and so gathers a hundred blessings.

注释
山附於地為剝，天下有山為遯。新田宜粟——新墾之地正合種粟。上農得穀——善農者自得其穀。君子惟好，以紆百福——君子持守善道，百福自來。此詩於剝蝕之象中出人意料地吉祥：新田之所以宜粟，恰因舊植已被清除。「上農」——善於觀察地力之農人——知何地已經充分剝蝕而可耕種。從剝至遯，山之剝蝕恰創造退守之良機。遯非敗退，乃選擇更佳之地。「遠小人，不惡而嚴」——識時務者於剝落中退而耕新田，此所以得穀、得福也。
