注释
山附於地為剝，兼山為艮。巨蛇大鰌，戰於國郊——巨蛇與大鯢鏖戰於城郊。上下隔塞——上下完全阻斷。逐君走逃——國君被逐倉皇出逃。蛇與鰌皆水中陰暗之物，二者於國門外相鬥，不留正統權威之立足空間。君逃非因敵強，而因兩獸混戰已無秩序可言。從剝至艮，崩塌之山化為雙山之靜止，本應以止為安。然此處之止非安寧而是癱瘓：君被逐、疆被占、二獸相殘。「思不出其位」——然位已不存，思亦無所寄。
