雷在地中，復之初陽始動，然此歸途負重過甚。大軍東征，聲勢浩大，然車陷泥淖，步履維艱，雄師終至潰敗。詩寫征伐之失：力雖雄壯，行道不順，後勤崩潰，信心反為災患之源。從復至乾，天行健之象——然自強不息須合乎天道，非一味用力。初陽回歸必得正途，蠻力錯施，徒耗於泥沼之中。
