雷在地中，行如桀紂——所行如桀、紂之暴虐。雖禱不祥——雖祈禱亦不獲吉祥。命衰絕周——天命衰竭，周祚斷絕。文王乏祀——文王之祭祀亦告匱乏。詩將兩次亡國濃縮為一則警示：行暴則禱亦無用；失天命，則文王之後裔亦見宗廟冷落。從復至姤，天下有風，后以施命誥四方。此變含凜然之反諷：陰從下入（姤之結構），恰似腐敗悄然侵入治道。看似邂逅者，實為污染之始。
