山下有雷化為澤上有水之節,頤養之德化為節之有度。文王四乳,仁愛篤厚——據《史記》載文王有四乳之異相,聖德之徵。子畜十男,無有折夭——養育十子,無一夭折。在嬰兒夭折率極高之時代,十子皆全即為養之至善。四乳之身本身即為廣大養育能力之天兆。從頤至節,豐養之德以適度為節:澤上有水不溢不竭。文王之四乳恰示節之悖論——最善養者正是善立規矩之人。「制數度,議德行」,節之養在於量度精準。
