澤滅木，大過之象。春桃始華——春日桃花初綻。季女宜家——少女宜於歸嫁。受福多年，男為邦君——享福多年，子為邦君。詩如婚嫁之頌，春桃呼應《桃夭》：「桃之夭夭，灼灼其華。」然所變者為蹇（山上有水），險阻也。山之阻使春水匯聚為沃壤，少女之婚因曲折更顯珍貴。從大過至蹇，過載遇山水之阻——正是此阻化過度為節制，令桃花應時而開。
