注释
澤滅木，大過之象。履素行德——踐行質樸，躬修德行。卒蒙祐福——終蒙天佑。與堯侑食，君子有息——與堯帝同席共食，君子得以安息。堯為聖王之極致，與之同食即與完美治世同在。「履素行德」合中庸之教：道始於日用常行。鼎之象為木上有火，烹煮生材為熟食，如德行精煉性情為高尚品格。從大過至鼎，傾塌之棟梁化為祭祀之鼎：過度之重被精煉為祭品，負擔化為祝福。
