水洊至，洪水滔天，坎之重險映太古洪荒。禹鑿龍門，疏通水泉，使百川暢流無阻。眾水同注滄海，萬民得以安居樂土。此詩頌大禹治水之偉業：非堵而疏，非塞而導，為洪水開路。從坎至比（地上有水），危險之水化為大地上和順之水——不再為患而成聯結之紐帶。禹之功正合比卦之象：先王以建萬國親諸侯，以開放水道而非築壩為治，百川歸海即天下歸心。
