九五 屯其膏。小貞吉。大貞凶。
Nine in the fifth place means: Difficulties in blessing. A little perseverance brings good fortune. Great perseverance brings misfortune.

雲雷屯，化為明入地中之明夷。蠆室蜂戶，螫我手足，不可進取，為身害速——蠍蟲滿室，蜂群守門，螫刺手足，進退不能。冒進只會加速自傷。本應安全之居室化為毒蟄之陷阱。從屯至明夷，明入地中而晦。智者韜光養晦以應惡世，然此詩更進一層：環境本身攻擊一切行動者。門檻即刺，暗世之中連靜處亦受傷。不動方為存身之唯一策略。
