雲雷屯，化為風行天上之小畜。夾河為婚，期至無船——隔河締婚，至期而無渡船，淫心失望，不見所歡。河為阻隔，戀人不得相會，此為中國詩歌最古老之意象之一。從屯至小畜，初始之困難遇上溫柔而不足之約束。風行天上僅能施以微力，不足以克服屯之險阻。新婦無法渡河，因蓄聚之力太弱；思慕愈切而實際之手段始終缺如。
