蒼耳東從，道頓跂踦，日辰不良，病為祟禍。
Cockleburs follow from the east; the road is blocked and the gait halting. The day and hour are inauspicious; illness becomes a haunting curse.

注释
雷風恆，持行之象。蒼耳東從——蒼耳草隨行附體。道頓跂踦——路途顛簸，行步蹣跚。日辰不良——天時不利。病為祟禍——疾病乃鬼祟為禍。蒼耳鉤刺，附而不去，象徵糾纏阻礙。行路難而天時又不佳，病痛更被歸咎於鬼神。從恆至漸（山上有木），漸者循序漸進，木在山上緩慢生長。然此詩中的漸進被各種障礙拖慢——蒼耳纏身、道路崎嶇、日辰不吉。恆之動力遇漸之緩慢，不進反退，持久的跋涉反成持久的困頓。
