明出地上，晉之象也。原詩云「百足俱行，相輔為強。三聖翼事，王室寵光」——百足之蟲，眾足齊動而不亂，喻眾志成城之力。「三聖」多解為周公、太公、召公，三人共輔成王，開創周室盛世。周初百廢待舉，三公各展所長，相扶相助。從晉至坤，地勢坤而厚德載物：光明之進取最終落實於大地之承載，真正的進步非一人之英明，而在於眾賢協力、各安其位。領導者進而退讓，始成大業。
