注释
明出地上，晉之象。「雖污不辱」——身雖受污，名不受辱。「因何洗足」——何必急於洗清？「童子褰衣，五年平復」——童子提衣涉水，五年之後自然恢復。此詩寫忍辱待時之道：暫時之污不損本質，不必急於辯白。從晉至離（明兩作），離為重明之卦——火上加火，光明不斷再生。暫時之污染無法遮蔽持續自新之光。如雙火不息，人之清譽非靠強辯而復，乃靠德行之持續輝映而自然恢復。五年非長，心定則明。
