明出地上，晉之象。「白鳥衘餌」——白鳥口銜食物。「鳴呼其子」——鳴叫呼喚幼鳥。「施技張翅」——展示飛翔技巧。「來從其母」——幼鳥追隨母親。此詩純寫天倫之樂：母鳥教雛覓食飛翔，代代相傳。從晉至震（洊雷），震為驚動奮起之卦——雙雷齊震。幼鳥離巢之一刻，恰如雷之驚動：母親之耐心教導在此刻化為獨立飛行之第一聲驚雷。養育為準備，震動為啟程。
