明入地中，雷在地中，復之象：一陽自下而生。然詩中非光明之復，而為欺詐之連環：「偽言妄語，轉相詿誤」——假話謊言，輾轉相誤。「不知狼處」——不知狼（奸人）藏於何處。復卦一陽來復之機本為希望之始，然若光明回歸之場充斥虛偽，則更新之機制本身即被汙染。狼不可見，因謊言已使整個環境難以辨識。從明夷至復，變化之警示：真正之回歸須先破除虛妄，否則初生之陽即被偽言所蝕。
