風自火出，家人以新婚之喜溫暖。執斧破薪——劈柴備婚，此為《詩經》婚姻意象。使媒求婦——遣媒人求親。和合二姓——兩姓和合聯姻。親御斯酒——共飲合巹之酒。居比鄰里——定居鄰里之間。姑公悅喜——公婆歡喜。每一環節皆循禮制之序：伐薪示意、媒妁溝通、合巹定盟、入鄰而安。從家人至漸，山上有木，循序漸進。漸為婚姻正禮之卦——鴻雁有序而進。此婚禮正體現由求親至安居之耐心漸進。
