Storing profit and gathering blessings, renewing virtue day by day. The house of Gao eats and drinks well; worry does not become calamity.

注释
山上有水，蹇之積蓄。蓄利積福，日新其德——日日更新其德行，近《大學》「苟日新，日日新」之旨。高氏飲食——齊國高氏為世卿大族，衣食無憂。憂不為患——有憂而不成禍，以平日積德為緩衝。從蹇至大畜，天在山中，多識前言往行以畜其德。大畜善以蓄積之智涵容至大之力。此詩正演此理：受阻之路化為蓄水之庫。蹇之本義，即山蓄天之法——涵容至大之能量，待其時而釋。
